Customisation For Business

Customising your Uniforms
The Trade Range has been designed with minimal Service Works branding to allow space for personalisation and company branding. Below you'll find digital CAD files for download to help mock up customisation, some helpful tips and guidelines, as well as contact details for our UK customisation partner, Woven Inc.

If you have any specific questions that aren’t answered here, please submit them using our Business Query Form

Embroidery Guidelines
Most customisation requests involve adding a company logo to the left breast of our Trade Jacket. Based on fabric structure and overall proportions, we recommend keeping logos within 7cm in either height or width.

Artwork Guidelines
To ensure your logo translates well to embroidery:
* Avoid fine detail: Thin outlines, intricate shading, and small patterns don’t translate well.
* Simplify overlapping elements: Keep shapes bold and clear.
* Use solid fills instead of gradients or texture.
* Convert text to outlines and remove unnecessary flourishes.

Minimum Text Size
* Sans-serif fonts: Letters should be at least 5–6 mm high for legibility.
* Serif or script fonts: Require a minimum of 6–8 mm height due to finer details.

Fabric Notes
Our garments are made from 250gsm drill cotton — a durable, midweight fabric with a tight weave. This material holds embroidery well, but:
* Dense stitching or large filled areas can feel bulky.
* Small or overly detailed artwork may lose clarity.
* Placement over seams or curved areas should be avoided where possible.

Placing Artwork on Pockets
If you are looking to customise your uniform with embroidery, please avoid placing your artwork on pockets when creating mockups.
Some suppliers may offer to embroider through the pocket, which renders it unusable, or to remove, embroider, and reattach the pocket for an extra fee. Unless absolutely necessary, we recommend avoiding pocket embroidery altogether to keep things simple and functional.
